Nick & Laura Manzo – Franchisees
Nick began teaching with Arthur Murray in 2008, and quickly became one of Arthur Murray’s top instructors! He is an Arthur Murray certified examiner and traveling coach. Through hard work and dedication, Nick has received top instructor awards for 6 consecutive years. He was the number one instructor in Arthur Murray world-wide for amount of lessons taught for 3 consecutive years. Nick has a number of students that have also won and placed in All-Around championships and Scholarship divisions in all American and International styles of dance.
With her B.A. in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, Laura is able to combine her degree and her passion for music, dance, and fitness through teaching ballroom dancing at Arthur Murray. Laura has a number of students that have won and placed in All-Around championships and Scholarship divisions. Laura hopes to help change more lives through the art of dance, like it has changed hers.
Nick & Laura’s professional partnership dancing also escalated quickly. Together, they held the title of Arthur Murray Rising Star Smooth Champion 2010 and were a consistent Open Professional Smooth and International Standard Arthur Murray finalist. Other Championship titles include two-time Unique Dance-O-Rama, Washington D.C. Dance-O-Rama, Northstar Dance-O-Rama, and Seattle Dance-O-Rama. Nick and Laura also hold the Arthur Murray Open Professional Quickstep championship title for 2013.
Marshall Strife – Instructor
Marshall Strife was an athlete turned dancer — with his competitive nature, dancing became a passion that challenges him mentally and physically. As a certified instructor of Arthur Murray for many years, Marshall is now able to share his passion with all of his students, helping them become the best dancer they could be in all styles of partnership dancing! Marshall was awarded International Top Teacher awards in 2015 & 2016. Marshall and his professional dance partner also placed first in the American Rhythm Future Champion Division in 2013. He is currently competing in the American Smooth Division.
Maygen Price – Instructor
Maygen Price came into the ballroom dance comunity with years of competitive gymnastics and ballet training. She is currently a full time student and dancer, as she is always looking to improve her skill set and knowledge base. Maygen is certified to instruct in all partner dance styles and her passion is helping others find theirs. Maygen is currently a competing professional in the American Smooth Division.
Sierra Trinidad – Instructor
Sierra grew up in the Pacific Northwest with a passion for singing and music. As the oldest of 9 siblings, she has always felt a responsibility to be an encouraging, yet patient leader. Freshman year of college she found an Argentine Tango club to join. By sophomore year, she was club president and had a fierce passion for dance. When she moved to the valley, she was in search for a new dance community and found Arthur Murray Dance Centers. With a customer service background, Sierra finds it important to make everyone around her feel welcome. She looks forward to continuing her own dance education while also assisting in the growth of her students’ dance careers.
Nancy Goodman – Administrative Assistant
Nancy Goodman provides day to day administrative support to our office. She has worked for attorneys and in retail management which has given her a strong understanding of meeting the needs of business and assisting others. She has a love for the arts and its various mediums. As she continues to grow in the administrative role here, she looks forward to learning dance and reaping the benefits it gives.
